Hotspot Internet Café was formed in 2008 as Communication Center Company in Tanzania. Our primary objective is to provide computer products and computer services to individuals, organizations and companies in the efficient application of Information Technology.  Our desire is to see that Investment into this Industry is done responsible and appropriately to our clients.

TITLE: Sales &Marketing Officer
REPORT TO: Managing Director
Location: DSM

Roles and Responsibilities

·         To Develop sales & marketing plan & strategy

·         To attract and promote Hotspot image including the activity of sending introductory letters alongside our brochure/ fliers to schools, churches, hotels etc for the purpose of promoting our products and services

·         To advertise in relevant newspapers, radios, TV stations as well as all social media for available products including new products and services offered sales promotion and public relations.

·         To Liaise and communicate with individuals, companies to get work in the area of designing materials  such as fliers, brochures, cups, t-shirts, books, all type of cards etc;

·         To attend International and local events such as exhibitions, conferences, seminars and the alike for learning, experience sharing as well as exposure ,which are useful to the company

·         To identify and analyze company strengths and weaknesses, and work for imaging opportunities, set goals for increasing clients satisfaction as well as future improvements in our products and services.

·         To support Hotspot clients in solving their challenges as part of strategy of improving and  increasing company clients/sales

·         To develop  Hotspots new approach on pricing and set  new and reasonable prices for products and services

·         To carry out Hotspots sales & marketing auditing to monitor sales performance as well as maintaining and updating client’s databases.

·         To visit & network with target clients for managing customers relationships

·         To support the marketing director in monitoring competitor companies

·         Any other assignments as may be directed by Managing Director.

Education and Experience

i) Certificate /Diploma in business administration, marketing, or relevant skills
ii) Experience in sales and marketing or related field of not less than 3 years
iii) Excellent knowledge of  sales and marketing software systems
iv) Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
v) Creativity, pro- active and business awareness.
vi) A team player with a customer-oriented approach
