D&G
Precast has set aside funds to recruit recent graduates and
university-level students in their final year of study to undertake
internships that may result into full-time employment opportunities for
successful applicants. Students can utilize and enhance their
educational experience through practical work assignments, while
supporting the work of the D&G Precast. An internship with D&G
Precast provides exposure to the daily activities undertaken by the
Company, as well as an opportunity to gain first-hand experience on a
diverse range of civil engineering and related activities
Posts available for internship are:
Civil Engineer – Civil Works (2 posts)
Eligibility:
Civil Engineering graduates of 2017 ONLY with an overall GPA of upper second or above;
Project of concern: Civil works (road and bus stand)

Human Resource (1 post)
Eligibility:
Students in their final year of study pursuing Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, with an overall GPA of upper second or above;
Those who possess good communication skills, hardworking mentality, and can write and speak fluently in English language will stand a good chance.
Job location: Dar es Salaam
Accountant (1 post)
Eligibility:
Students in their final year of study pursuing Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance; with an overall GPA of upper second or above;
Job location: Dar es Salaam
Civil Engineer (3 posts)
Eligibility:
Students
in their final year of study pursuing Bachelor Degree or equivalent in
Civil Engineering; with an overall GPA of 3.8 or above;
Those
undertaking their Final Year Project/Dissertation in the area of
Precast or Pre-stressed Concrete will have an added advantage.
Mechanical Engineer (2 posts)
Eligibility:
Students
in their final year of study pursuing Bachelor Degree or equivalent in
Mechanical Engineering; with overall Upper Second GPA or above;
They should be conversant with CAD Drafting software.
Those who can demonstrate their interests in the Production of Machines will stand a good chance.
Quantity Surveyor (2 posts)
Eligibility:
Students
in their final year of study pursuing Bachelor Degree or equivalent in
Building Economics/Quantity Surveying; with overall Upper Second GPA or
above;
They
should be conversant with construction costs and contracts. Those who
can demonstrate their interests and understanding of precast prestressed
concrete will stand a good chance.
